Fairtrade in Eastleigh Borough Campaign promotes awareness of Fairtrade and we are delighted to announce that The Fairtrade Foundation has recognised our achievements. With the full support of Eastleigh Borough Council, Fairtrade status has been awarded to the Borough of Eastleigh for its commitment to Fairtrade principles.

Eastleigh is now officially a Fairtrade Borough, after a resolution was made in 2005 to actively promote Fairtrade to consumers, businesses and community groups in the area.

Fairtrade fortnight

During Fairtrade fortnight 2012 (27th Feb to 11th March 2012) Wildern School, and friends, manned a fairtrade stall in Sainsburys, Hedge End. We enjoyed sharing with the community how, buying Fairtrade goods really benefits the farmers and producers in developing countries. Building the long-term solution to poverty in our World.
